Everyone gets their body fat stored in different parts of their body, some of the main parts in women are arms, thighs and hips. We need to work our full body in order to remove those extra pounds of fat from thighs. When it comes to losing fat from your thighs, there are few other steps along with exercises that we need to add in our plan. Now let’s jump right into our plan.
1. Be Realistic
Let’s be realistic here, there are no shortcuts when it comes to fitness, whether it’s losing weight or building quality muscle. After researching on the internet, we found search queries on internet for this topic were something like this “how to lose weight from thighs in 2 weeks”, “how to remove fat from thighs easily/without any exercise” “how to get slim, tight and toned thighs in 1 week”.
All those posts with these kind of titles are not realistic and even if you found success doing that so, you will most likely to gain that weight back afterwords. We need to understand that fitness is a lifestyle, not a trend. It takes some dedication, will power and most importantly discipline. Just remember to be realistic and to take your body shape, genetics and current level of body fat into consideration when setting goals. You can get slim thighs, but you need time to get there.
Your cardio goal should be to burn fat without gaining much muscle mass in the thighs. To achieve this you need to avoid over doing cardio exercises that targets your thighs. If you don’t have time to hit the gym, you can perform most of these exercises at home.

This one is my personal favorite exercise for my legs, start with 4 sets of 10-12 reps, you can increase sets once you improve your stamina.
Stability Ball Leg Circles
This one is little hard but totally worth it. Start by doing 3 sets of 6-8 reps.
Lunges are the perfect workout for your inner thighs. They also works your gluteal muscles and help shed a few extra pounds from your buttocks as well. If you have a perfect booty and don’t want to sacrifice it, do lunges with free-weight.
This one is a must when it comes to make your thighs tone and tight. It is recommended to perform only 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps of this exercise. If you are into body building, you can gain some muscle by performing 5-6 sets of this exercise.
You can use this machine at any gym, if you have a busy schedule, you can do it at home as well. Use a yoga mat, lay on your back, raise both legs up straight and perform this exercise, just use your both legs like you are cycling.
This one is another great exercise for toning your thighs and buttock muscles.
3. Eat Healthy
You should eat at least 4-5 six small meals a day, many people think that going on a serious diet or skipping meals can help them lose weight, Starving usually slows down the metabolism to prepare the body for a long time without food.
This causes storing of fat specially in the problem areas like thighs and hips. Instead of going on a serious diet, replace the unhealthy snacks with fruits, whole grains, eggs, low fat dairy, vegetables, fish, lean meats and healthy fats like nuts, seeds, olive oil and fruits. This will boost your energy and at the same time you will become more healthier. Trust Me! A healthy diet is a must to add in your lifestyle, not just for losing weight, but for a healthy lifestyle.
4. Drink More Water
Drink loads of water. Water helps you in burning that extra fat, it also helps you to flush all the toxins from your body. Water will keep your immune system healthy and ensure you are hydrated during your daily workout. Cut down on soda, fancy fruit juices and other sweetened beverages. Keep water close by, and sip it often.
